Maybe predictable was a bad word. How about unsurprising?

What truly grabbed me about the series in the first place was the moments that were downright startling they were so unexpected. Right off the bat, they spent several episodes convincing you Ned was the main character of the whole series only for him to die halfway through season one.

To me, Circe "marrying" the Night King so she could stay Queen of the Seven Kingdoms would be unexpected. Which is why I think hill1117's ending will likely be better than what the writers come up with.
